Microsoft Developing Live Messenger and Bing for the iPhone
Neowin has released a report that claims Microsoft is working on two new applications for the AppStore, one being a Bing application and the other for Windows Live Messenger on the iPhone. Unfortunately the applications won't be released until March, which should time nicely with their release of Windows Live Wave 4 updates.
"Everyone understands the popularity and the pervasiveness of the platform," said Microsoft principal group program manager David Raissipour, following a Bing event Wednesday. "We are actively working on it."
There should be more news and screenshots even over the next week, so I'll try to keep this post updated as I receive more news. Stay tuned!

Considering Bing is fairly new to market and it's share has been picking up decently, it very well could be a great addition.
With the ability to stream clips form a search window without actually having to load a new page, to presenting quality search results as well.
Internal MS employees actually have a special build that will allow the end user to create a search and view both the Bing and Google results. Depending on the outcome, those users can submit requests on how to make the searching easier or more effective.
They're definitely moving forward with some interesting concepts. I'm glad that MS hasn't completely shunned the iphone and are willing to develop apps. I'm quite curious to see if this app was first written for a future WinMo device and ported over. After the interview where it was mentioned that "app development is easy" in comparison to other larger PC/etc applications.
And just for all the fanboys.... click here. (I decided to not just show it since people tend to get offended easily)

tried bing because of all the hype. and thats all it was, a bunch of hype. i liked bings GUI vs googles interface. but thats all it had a leg up on. the searches were just as transparent the further out you went. in fact it quite quickly turned to searching for things that were far from what i was first even inquiring about.[compared to google] ill stick with google.killall Terminal
