Dude, Ryan Petrich is THE MAN. I'm not saying you meant anything against him, but there's no problem with improve others' ideas. And if you really wanted to, you could say the dev of multifl0w ripped off of MY idea for a screenshot-based task switcher. But I can't develop (yet), so you can't say that. And personally, OverBoard is a MUCH faster and cleaner solution than Orbit, and I doubt he just decided "IMMA MAKE MAH OWN!!1!11" Judging from the timespan between releases, I HIGHLY doubt Ryan would have been able to whip up his "clone" (if you want to dumb it down to that) of Orbit. They probably worked on it separately at the same time, sorta like with the Newton-Raphson Method in Calculus.

Tards.... this will be released as A JAILBREAK APP, through Cydia and the like... not in the damn App Store! Please STOP wasting my time by making me read your dumbazz posts about how or why Apple will reject it!
Praise the Devs! To each and every one of you who spend your time writing code and making apps for little or no profit... Its YOU that makes the iPhone great, NOT Apple!! From me to you, a million thanks!!

I downloaded the source and paged through it (doesn't look like we'll be getting live previews anytime; the screenshots are pretty much hardcoded into the backbone of the extension). It comes with everything (app, preference pane, .plist) EXCEPT for the .dylib, the important part that actually gets injected into SpringBoard. I tried compiling in Xcode myself and it resulted in ~130 errors, sooooooo... haha

Well, at least you tried. Seems there's a few here that have the file, I wish they'd share it or post it.

The developers expressly forbid redistributing it until they do their first release. It won't be too long, according to one of the guy's last night they're "just tieing up some loose strings."

lmao. Check out the link in my sig for MMi's channel. The dev team's channel is on hackintosh's server in #iPhone but there are many others where devs hangout

Thanks =]
You know, I'm actually kinda glad they took this long to announce it. Otherwise I would have just been waiting longer.

Thank you @TheOnlyest! haha. I was getting sick of reading the "will apple approve it?" comments too. lol. And for the person that asked if its going to take a heavy toll on battery life. I highly doubt the app itself is going to have a heavy drain on it. But it can depending on how many/what apps you have backgrounded. So if you have a ton of backgrounded applications, you're going to see the effects on your battery life. lol. And about the whole 'copying of others ideas' thing. If he can make them even better and cleaner... why would you complain? haha. It's beneficial for everyone.
It just raises the bar that much higher.

Actually it works fine for 3g. It won't be too heavy don't worry

BTW I think it was chpwn that started it & decided to change the name & I know he is doing a lot of work on it.
The article makes it sound like he's not a big player in this app and most of the credit should go to ryan pretrich... just saying..I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

I love Ryan! His apps/mods are amazing. Use Action Menu Plus and Inspell and they're both so nice. I already bought MultiFl0w, but if we don't get more updates, I'll ditch it for Ryan's app.
Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?
