Not sure if I like the smaller screen idea but a iPhone on verizon's network would be awesome!

Verizon DOES NOT have that much 3G coverage like they show in their maps. Plus, Verizon's "3G" is different than AT&T. Thus, why AT&T is suing them. Trust me, drive to Michigan (or talk to someone that lives there) according to the Verizon map, pretty much EVERYWHERE has 3G coverage. ********. There isn't ANY. The data is slower then dialup on ANY phone. Verizon is full of **** and they are going to pay for it in court. If you go to their website and pull up their V-Cast map, and where V-Cast is available, you'll see it's the exact same places that AT&T 3G is.
Quit your ********. Verizon is NOT getting the iPhone. Never will because their network CANNOT SUPPORT THE DATA USAGE that iPhone users bring. Apple would not have chosen AT&T if it wasn't the best one for the phone. Apple knows better then that.

I have had both and those maps are both full of sh*t. I sell medical equipment through DE, PA, NY, and MD and i drop 3g all the time where it's suppose to be on both networks over the last couple of years. Both companies are suppose to be strong through the Northeast. I used to be on Verizon and switched for the iphone to AT&T. I would love to know what perfect condition with some sort of modified phones they use to make these maps.

One thing the maps do not show are the 3g strengths around the map. Verizon has strong 3g is in major cities, just like AT&T, except it is slower around the board. It is damn near Edge speeds in the outskirts and ATT has EDGE in about 80% of similar locations. It's just marketing guys, and Verizon is showing they are at least good at that..

And this is why i just moved over to the andriod. So that I can tether without having install a hack, can still enjoy my favorite themes, and got my permanent factory unlock code from my carrier.
No need for cydia anymore because all of my favorite apps are on the android market and they are "legal" to download.
Apple claims that jailbreaking your iphone is illegal while my carrier considers me a hero for jailbreaking my android. The instructions to do so are on my carriers web site. I'd rather feel like a hero rather than a felon. Especially a convicted one if apple decides to come after the jailbreakers.
Even if you feel that it is not illegal or your cousin who when to law school tells you that it is not illegal to jailbreak your iphone, do you honestly have the financial resources to pay for a good attorney once you get the subpoena in the mail that you are being sued and are required to appear in court all because you wanted that cute hello kitty theme on your cell phone?
Not to mention that you now have a permanent crimininal record for copyright infringement. All in the name of downloading mostly rediculously stupid hacks from cydia that almost always render your wifi useless.
Remember that Jobs despises you. Why do you support his products and continue to make him richer each day. Especially when we all know that Woz was the true brains behind the same piece of fruit that eve coerced adam to eat which is why we have the bottomless fiery pit in the first place.
On my over now to modmygphone.com to see whats new and exciting. Hope to see you there soon.

What makes me kind of raise an eyebrow, that pic says 5x more 3G Coverage, and they show Alaska having coverage in the South Central part of Alaska. Meaning, Anchorage and the nearby cities.
Verizon doesn't offer 3G in Alaska. Matter in fact, while you can get coverage here in Alaska, Verizon does not offer service here, much less 3G. The phones run on ACS' towers.

I wonder if the iPhone is in all the commercials concerning 3G because Verizon is trying to show how much better it would work on their network, or if they are just using it because its one of AT&T's best selling phones.
Hmmmm...

A) Apple can claim what they want, jailbreaking is not illegal in any way and they cannot prosecute you in any way. If so, I would be in jail for all the jailbroken iPhones I've given Apple in exchanges.
B) It's a blast to be a pirate, ask Jobs

Correct me if I'm wrong but the larger the coverage area, the more phones will be hogging bandwidths, that means slower speed right?

Great Fun!!!!
These ads crack me up! But I'll stick with my iPhone, and the fact that 3G is up in my area. Verizon is getting pretty pathetic, because none of there phones can even come close to the iPhone. And I don't even think that Verizon 3G coverage is as good as they claim. Verizon doen't have the iPhone, therefor they hate it. LOL

I would love to see verizon get an iPhone. Then all the AT&T haters can leave and swamp up verizons network slow it down and the ones that stay with AT&T including I can read about how it's not better on the other side while we with AT&T enjoy all the extra bandwith. Just my opinion
