Once u JB there's no coming back! if Apple was smarter they could profit off of widgets and themes for the iphone instead of worrying about the JB community. if Cracked apps is there concern they can find away to stop that without making it harder to JB, i no on thing for sure if i cant Jailbreak my iphone no more im dumping the iphone move on to the next best thing out there i pay to Damn much for the service..

Whats with the stick up Steve Job's *** that he has to take down the jailbreaking world? what part of his company is it truly hurting because of this? is he cry at night that hes missing a few million bucks for some apps he could of sold? Im also getting fed up with him suing everybody...He doesnt like competiton at all he just likes to cut the legs off little companies that oppose him in any way.

All I want to do is have a wallpaper and a better font lol is that too much to ask to be able to customize my phone..and i have t-mobile, so too bad for apple..because of jailbreaking, I bought many iphones, and have not put down my phone since i got it, and I even bought a mac computer after using windows for the past 13 years..(whenever 95 came out lol) and haven't touched my windows pc since I got the mac..So apple needs to give it up already and make it open source and just better protect the apps from being cracked..

instead of trying to stop jailbreaking, Apple should embrace it !! If I was in charge at Apple, I would try to understand WHY people jailbreak their devices in the first place and simple add to the next firmware the things users want. whats wrong with wanting themes on your phone? whats wrong with widgets on your lockscreen? why cant we have (VERY POPULAR) apps that were rejected by the app store?

Apple is a tyrant. they spend lots of money trashing MS but file lawsuits against other carriers who trash the iDont phone.

To be honest, this type of crap is what makes me glad that Bill Gates ripped off Steve Jobs of his Operating System. Can you imagine if Apple was in Microsoft's position today? it would probably be frightening.

If the the Dev Team cannot JB any new update they (apple) come up with, just don't update. No update they come up with (most likely in the near future anyway) will convience me to update if I cannot JB my phone...What they're going to offer me something that I cannot get through a JB app anyway?

I tried that, I stuck with 3.0 firm ware with some hacks for tethering, but I bought a new computer and installed Itunes which was 9 now, I had no idea the Steve and his cronies put a secret Kill file on Itunes 9 for tethering, it messed up my settings on my Iphone even. I had reinstalled the darn thing 3 times before I found an article to explain the secret file in Itunes 9.

My opinion of Apple dropped with this.

I used Blackrain3 to jailbreak and unlock and put tethering back in ( AT&T is evil BTW I pay an extra 30 a month for internet I should be able to tether to do some surfing on the laptop! I pay for it Darn it!) But that was the only thing that saved tethering for me, Jailbreaking.

to Me this is control issue with Steve.

And money
30 extra a month for Iphone and internet if you want to tether another $10 to $20 a month why? Because they can thats why, But I contend paying for something twice is criminal.
