Would it be possible to pair a PS3 controller with my iPhone and use it to play?

zodttd would be smart and only design this for the controllers and the 3gs and the other one he mentioned...
Btw the icontrolpad will never come out, there was so much hype in the beginning of 2009 and now im all over it, these guys abandoned their project and will never reach consumers hands
The gamebone pro is what im waiting for. these guys, i think personally, have done a better job, icontrolpad's site will close down when this device comes out.

I agree. I even have trouble playing SNES. And btw I doubt it'll run full speed. Slow *** fps + impossible controls =

Maybe not a PS3 controller unless someone finds some sort of hack to pair the them inside the emulator.
Apple allowed the use of bluetooth APIs from devs but I doubt Sony would make the ps3 controller compatible with the iPhone. So I think a company needs to make a bluetooth controller(a small one lol not a big a** one that will make you look like a fool) for the iPhone.Last edited by M4tt Dam0n; 11-05-2009 at 03:40 AM. Why is ZodTTD name always spelled wrong?
We have some control ideas such as this (not made by me)
Some buttons are missing from the screen is done on purpose. Since some games don't need those

Zod has posted more information here.

Yeah... the iControl Pad has been in development for how long? Like 27 years?
When the heck is it going to be released?

Hmm my iPod touch is a 2g (post 3rd gen MFD, 8gb) but I've disabled/deleted as much stuff as I can get away with and on boot I average in at 82 MB's free CPU. Would my device be capable of running it smoothly?

Crosseyes, Your processor simply isn't powerful enough to run N64 games, no matter how much free memory you have.
Let's grow old together...
... And die at the same time

^ Yep, even the 3GS will be struggling with this one. If he even gets it playable with sound, I'll be amazed.
Maybe this will light a fire under those trying to produce a came controller.. and bluetooth is a must IMO. Pairing a PS3 controller is brilliant.

Zottd never "came up with" anything, he just took the source code and modified the psp version of GPSP and ported it to iphone. he did it with permission, but that does make it "his" im not saying hes bad, but you guys need to get your facts straight.
Not to mention that he may just use the psp version of the n64 emu deudlus and just port it. which will have been someone elses work aswell.
none the less, i think its awesome that he's porting these emulators over to iPhone.
