blacksn0w is out - Unlock 05.11.07

My Wifi problem starts after I restart my iPhone. No wifi so I go to setting->Wifi where it briefly searches at "choose a network" then is unable to finding anything?

Any idea's how I can fix this as it's doing my head in and I've tried it 5 times. BTW Installed Unlock direct from Blackra1n if that helps.

Reset the Network settings. Once that is done, the phone will reboot. Once it's back up, wifi should work.

To reset the Network setting, go to Settings-> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings


I am not sure if this is true, but the unlocked only worked for me when I installed it from cydia. When I tried to install it from the blackra1n.app, it hung and I couldn't get the wifi to work. But that should be just me I guess !!!

Whats the worst can happen if this doesn't work? My phone is jailbroken with pwnage.

What are the consequences? Can I always go back to factory settings if it doesn't work?

there is an issue friends the wifi dosen' t works some time
when u install rock application

with out the rock application there is no problem absolutely

I have a serial # 86938XXXX. 3GS OTB., with the 5.11.07 baseband, but i am reading that if the bootloader is the 36X.xx..... or whatever it is that everytime my phone reboots i will have to hook it to the computer and rejailbreak. How do i find out what bootloader i have?

BTW---- GEOHOT IS THE MAN!!! AND MODMYI ROCKS!!!

can someone help me. I just downloaded RC3. Now before i get started, when i jailbroke my itouch(RC2) I wanted to downloadd a cydia source that ended up giving me errors like "Refreshing Data" or "*****************/ error source. Anywho, it ended up bricking so i restored with my 3.1.2 fw non jailbroken. so that was a little recent history that might be a factor in this error. Anyway, downloaded RC3 and it says "Entering Recovery and nothing is happening. I check the notebook and it shows me this:

Try turning off your firewall, try a different USB port, try restarting your computer, uninstalling and reinstalling itunes. Try every option. If all else fails, use a different computer.

I Just jailbroken and unlocked my 16GB 3G iPhone using GeoHot's blackra1n and blacksn0w. I must say this is the easiest method I've used ever since all this iPhone h@cking show started.

Good news: carrier name is back, wasn't working when using the dev's team pwnagetool.

Bad news: youtube is not working while on wifi... I'm sure it's an easy fix; Will find out and report back.
