I am having problems. I dont know about everyone else. But after I install the blacksnow. I get problems with WIFI. The network works great thanks a lot. But when I reboot the wifi disappears and it is turned on but no networks appear and than even if I do a All reset settings or network reset settings was working to get it to work again, but now nothing. I have tryed turning off 3G and all and nothing. Please is there a fix for this?

You must have the new iboot. You will have to run blackra1n from your computer everytime you boot or battery dies. Right now there is only tethered JB for those on the later than week 40 3GSs.

test it with t-mobile sim , if work, is unlocked...

You have the newest bootrom and therefor have an untethered JB. You will need to redo brackra1n rc3 everytime you reboot.

If you have reset the network settings and still doesnt work, restore and do it again.

i got a question...i got a 3g running on custom 3.1.2 fw, now the only way to get my phone's push to work to is "activate" it with a spare att sim i have laying around, so since 3.0 i haven't used any "hacktivated" software on the phone or my push wouldn't work...now am i reading correctly that this software comes hackivated? will i still be able to "activate" it with my unactivate att sim like i used to?

i've been using this method (without redsnow this pasttime)

I'm using a iPhone 3G redsn0w'ed T-Mobile

You need a Unactivated ATT Sim
Take out your T-Mobile SIM and Pop in your Unactivated ATT Sim card.
Restore Using iTunes
Jailbreak with redsn0w
Go to settings and turn off your 3G!
You should get a "Waiting for activation." message, dismiss it and Open cydia.
Setup Cydia and all the hoopla.
Add the Ultrasn0w source repo666.ultrasn0w.com
Install Ultrasn0w and turn off your phone
Remove the unactivated ATT sim and insert your T-Mobile sim
Turn on the phone, once you receive service you should get the message. "iPhone has been activated"

i've never used this software to jb before, but does the unlock automatically get installed with the jb or can i do them both separately so i can still use the above method? thanks guys

There's no other way to get push to work there is a patch called push fix but it doesnt work at all. I have tryed it about 100 times but nothing. Worked like two times thats it and I think the rest of the time the messages go to someone else.

I just wish someone could come out with the wifi fix for this thats all. Also itunes is putting out a privilege errors anyone getting this at all?

anyone else having sms problems? i thought you didn't have to set anything for sms? or do you have to enter the mms settings? i do NOT need the mms, just simple sms is fine - can't seem to send message, only receive.

3GS 3.1.2 - had the pwnage 3.1.2 from 3.1 and just did the blackrain + blacksnow.

If you are on T-Mobile, there is a partial or complete network outage right now, depending on your location.
