Well did it last night and it went smooth. I had zero issues. J/B on w7 64bit, 3GS 3.1.2. Super fast too, seriously seemed like it took 10 seconds!

Hello GUYS & LADIES...
I have a serious question re: Jailbreak....
I jailbroke my iPhone and because I have the new iboot so I understand that I have to re-jailbreak my phone and etc once I rebooted it or it goes dead or etc..
I rebootd my phone by accident and it went to the connect to itunes and etc. I rejailbroke and it came on back to normal or etc..

I went to my ipod on my phone and it said it was loading and then all my music and videos disappeared. Upon hooking it back up to itunes. It shows my phone still has all of the music and video on the phone like if I had synced or etc???

Anyone having this problem or etc with this function???

I have a 3g iphone running 3.1.2(7D11). I have waited until now to jailbreak cos of the problems with blackrain. Are all the problems sorted? DOes anyone have a working guide?

I waited too because I heard about many problems. However I did it last week and it went fine and I haven't had any problems. The only thing that sucks about it is you may need to connect to computer each time you need to reboot your iphone and run blackrain again. That is the only thing I don't like about this jailbreak. I've had times where I had to reboot or dropped it and it rebooted itself.

HI,
iphone 3g... 3.1.2, BB 5.11.07.. jailbreak using blackra1n, unlocked using blacksn0w, everything worked fine(PUSH, YOUTUBE, WIFI, GPRS) for 3 weeks all of a sudden I am getting 'no service'.
- tried the sim on another phone.. works fine
- 3G off
- did a full restore thru itunes, the whole process again
- downgraded the BB to 4.26, installed ultrasn0w worked for a day, 'NOSERVICE'
anybody having the same problems?
please help!!

Have you tried toggling Airplane mode? Or a network reset?

... I can't get data connection on Vodafone Spain roaming here in the US. Error message:

Could not activate cellular data network, You are not subscribed to a cellular data service.

I actually have data service covered. I have data roaming switched on. I had the same problem when I unlocked the phone on version 3.0 and plugged in the chip while actually being in Spain. Makes me think it is not related to data roaming not functioning properly. Phone calls work fine so does WiFi access.

I've done a hard reset and a network reset but that didn't solve the problem.

Headed for Spain on Thursday for a 3 week biz trip. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

Is it really easier and quicker or does it just seem that way since it doesn't install Cydia, afc2add and things like that that other jb did?

I found this in the search, might try it: SOLVED "could not activate cellular data"

Thanks. Unfortunately Vodafone Spain is not included. I sent a message to unlockit but I guess he's getting tons of messages so I'm not holding my breath.

ok, a search on the web came back with the settings for Vodafone Spain:

Operator: - Vodafone (Airtel)

GPRS APN: - airtelnet.es

Username: - vodafone

Password: - vodafone

After installing carrierbundle off of Cydia I could access the cellular data settings. Working now, it's all good. Happy camper here.

hi ,i want to go back to 1.1.4 from 3.0 , i tried to restore with 1.1.4 firmware but the error is 1620 ,cant access ziphone at all -permission denied

I do not think you will be able to downgrade all the way back to 1.1.4, but who knows....
