even tho i just upgraded from the 2G iPhone on T-Mobile to the iPhone 3GS on AT&T. but at least now i can find some iPhones for x-mas gifts. i got lucky tho even tho i just bought the 3GS it's not on the new iboot.

Works sweet ..

had a problem with wifi not working after running sn0w but nothing that a network reset didn't fix !! Lots and lots of thanks to Geohot for working out the unlock and jailbreak ..

Btw, I have a 3GS and if some reason after running blackra1n and sn0w, the wifi is missing, just reset the network setting, That should fix it.

Also, the Devteam blog claims that there are no advantages to updating the baseband, but wouldn't there be improved reception/battery life/other improvements? Isn't that the whole point of updating the baseband (or was 05.11.07 just to close the previous unlock exploit)?

PWNage also made it so carrier logos didnt work among others. It was a sloppy JB. blacksn0w all the way!!!!!!!!!

I read all the info from blacksn0w and it sounds too good to be true. My 3GS will stay in 3.0 for now.

And does the wi-fi continue to work after a reboot or do you have to reset the network settings again.

it dont work on iphone 3g 8gb running rc3 like 10 times and my phone says NO SIM CARD INSTALLED i guess the hacktivation still dont work with rc3
pls help if am douing anything wrong am on t-mobile by the way not at&t.
