if u have rock app .. all u have to do is just restore the latest cache from the settings and youll get all the apps back from cydia and rock.
as for the appstore apps they will stay there regardless

Wow, by george I think it worked. I don't have any issues yet. Easy install. New SIM appears/wifi works/I can give and receive calls. Looks good so far. Donated. All that is left is changing cell providers.

Since you are with AT&T, it would basically mean that you can switch sim cards in the future.....or use other carrier sim cards.

Definitely need some help, apps are not working, deleted them and reloaded them through iTunes. Still no luck. Tried to dl a random walmart app from the appstore in which download was successful. Went to open dl'ed app and app opens but closes right after. Please help.

iPhone 3GI restored my phone to 3.1.2, and then ran blackrain, and I don't have any bars... No T-Mobile logo, and no Edge logo. Did I do something wrong?

This whole thread is about BlackSn0w which is Geohot's unlock for 05.11.07 and compliments BlackRa1n very nicely.
Just install BlackSn0w from BlackRa1n to unlock.

quick question peeps, my contract is due to end with 02 here in the UK in a few months (2 to be exact) if i unlock my 3G today when blacksn0w is released will i still be able to use my 02 contract until it runs out, then just get a PAYG Sim from whoever i choose? I don't want to unlock and then that ends my association with 02, as that will obviously blacklist me (saying that, i could just buy out my contract......) But an answer to my first question please. Can i unlock now and still stay as i am with 02? Thank you
