Fanboys make me laugh. Personally I haven't had any issues syncing my iPhone with windows 7 but I'm pretty sure my motherboard uses a different chipset.

Its another tactic created by mac to discredit windows. They probably purposely created an error with certain windows machines and hardware just to try discredit windows. And all the mac fanboys gobble this stuff up because they paid double for shitty hardware and want to defend their purchases by saying mac is better. Amirite?

See, you just said that you're not here to argue, yet you still make fun of the OS your against.
Quit being a hypocrite fanboy, use some logic, and stop attacking others purely because they have a different opinion then you.
Anyways, I think that its pretty clear by now that A) Its not Window's fault B) Its the fault of the hardware/iTunes fault, leaning more on the iTunes's fault, since there are going to be Apple laptops that are going to use the same hardware soon, and c) People should really research on their topics and reasons before going into a argument. people that enter into an 2-sided argument with the mindset of who their going to be with before listening to the facts end up looking like losers.

The whole thing is in the way apple designed the drivers to interact with windows 7. In the end Microsoft will probably fix the issue through a hot fix,a nd apple will blame them for it being a windows issue. but it will be apples drivers that are updated to fix the issue.
Hard work spotlights the character of people; some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all!

A solution to this problem
Download/Install the XP version and then under properties,
check the "Run as Administrator" box
Then run it in compatibility mode for XP service pack 3.
If the problem persists, you probably need to restore your phone so it knows what kind of computer its dealing with. (Or thinks its dealing with)
Worked for me

thanks dad. Yup the 80's were great to you.
I don't understand where and Internet argument will get you. Half you guys are laughing that you "won" the argument. Cool! You're still sitting in your basement playing world of Warcraft and roleplaying as final fantasy characters or something of that nature.
LOL!!! and please don't call me names online. It hurts so badly

Xwinger,
1) you don't know that
2) How do we know that your not just describing yourself
3) I know people with great lives (with great girls) who i would of never guessed that they know so much about computers/games.
4) Just because someone beat you on the internet, doesn't automatically make them a nerd/loser.
5) If i had to choose on being a smart, knowledgeable person, or a person that had no idea on what he was talking about, guess which one i would pick.
6) Girls will always go after the alpha male. Guess where smart people are.
7) Don't stereotype other people. Doing this makes you look like a major douche
And we should really quit talking about this and get back on topic. Personal attacks will get you no where.
