Don't be so sure. Remember how many months it took for the iPod touch 2G to get jailbroken?

"We're?" Really? You're part of the Dev Team?! And you already found a new exploit?!?! WOW!!!

People who act like they're devs and hackers and l33t just because they ran blackra1n or PwnageTool on their phones give me a hearty chuckle.

Even so, the jailbreak community doesn't find exploits like you inferred. They USE the exploits. The dev team has found (most of) the exploits used in their software. So don't be talking all hard-*** like your gonna pwn doze ph00ls @ apple with your leet n00 hakczxz.

MMi how did this even make it into the news feed?

Now people are going to flood MMi, The DevTeam, Geohot with emails and blog posts asking if this is true. So they will be spending their time doing that instead of giving windows a redsnow break for 3.2
See all those Twitter quotes on the first post?! Those are iPhone Dev Team members saying that!!!!!!!!! I moved this to the news section. A.S.S!

It's being suggested that the main reason Apple fixed this is because of piracy. A lot of folks that jailbreak their phones pirate apps from the App Store. Apple wants to stop this. duh.

Apple trys to stop us from jailbreaking limitimng the power that the iphone/ipod touch, and trys to hard and leaves little places for the dev and geohot to get threw and jailbreak for everyone. With out this whole jailbreaking and unlocking iphone won't be as popular as it is now, since some people want to be with tmobile and love the themes and all that.

Getting back to this ordeal with Apple, it reminds me of Direct TV and all the changes they would make to keep hackers from recieving free tv by modding their cards . Oh the memories.

Of coarse they want to stop that, but think about it, if they want to stop it they can, they can make a reall strong eycrption on the apps, but the question is what holding them. MONEY

    DAMN YOU APPLE!
This couldn't be worse timing, our entire family was going to get iPhones next month, by then there won't be any Pwnable 3GS's in stock. I can only hope the dev team has something out by then, otherwise I'm holding on to my ipt2g with an iron fist.
