It's about time. Hopefully this happens. As much as I love Apple, it's ridiculous how much they brain wash us into absolutely loving it when they give us features that have been in phones for YEARS.
Anyway, WunderRadio works great for now. True FM radio would rock though...21.5" iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 l 15" MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 l 17" PowerBook 1.67 GHz

Radio.app question
Is it required to have 3g or wifi?

so check this out.
i guess that chipset has the ability to transmit and receive!
so now we just need some amazing developer to put some coding together and make it work before apple wait another 2 years to let us have it!
if (youTryToBeSmarter)
{
i.WillTryToBeNicer();
}
//oh here let me translate for you to something that is easier to understand!
If youTryToBeSmarter Then
i.WillTryToBeNicer()
End If

Ok some people are getting confused so:
- NO WiFi or 3G will be needed
(It connects via FM, iTouch and iPhone have FM Chip) - Supported devices:
- iPod 2,1
- iPod 2,2
- iPhone 1,2
- iPhone 2,1
- Un-supported devices:
- iPod 1,1
- iPhone 1,1

First of all, Bluetooth wasn't "hidden." It was unimplemented in the iTouch and only partially implemented in the iPhone (no A2DP/AVRCP). I've seen Bluetooth, FM receiver, and FM Transmitter listed in the spec sheets for the chips found inside the iTouch/iPhone in past tear-downs, so I'm sure that they already did and you just glossed over it. Basically, Broadcom and others make one chip that can be implemented differently into a broad range of products, so having it in the chip's feature list does not mean that there is the necessary software *OR HARDWARE* to support it (FM needs an antenna on the PCB, for example... MORE than just the chip alone).

Apple Insider say the previous chipsets had potential FM functionality as well, but Apple's declined to switch it on.

The worst ones are the ones that say "should of."
"SHOULD HAVE" you morons. Not should of. Should've is short for should have.
I understand that not everyone's primary language is English, and being bilingual is great, but the real problem people are LAZY, STUPID AMERICANS.
