blackra1n Released! Jailbreak 3.1.2 For All Devices

Hey has anyone had problems with their wifi since using blackra1n? When i go to settings the wifi is whited out and it says No-WiFi. Does any1 know what this problem is or how to fix it? If so, please reply to me!

EDIT: My Wifi works, it just says theres no wifi. Still, any1 know how to get it back?

Hi Guys, just tried on my 3G 16GB worked perfectly, took about a minute at most.

Running Win7 RTM 32bit, right clicked the exe and ran as admin, works very well, installed cydia and the installd file.

Yeah worked fine for me. Took a little while to reboot when the blackra1n logo was on the screen.

Jailbreak iPod Touch OS 3.1.2 with blackra1n | ithinkdifferent - This website has good guide on how to do it.

This happened once to me. I uninstalled MyWi, powered off and on and the problem was resolved.

Yay! Firstly Geohot is a genius! Secondly, thanks to everyone that posted as it was a combination of things that worked for me. I have 3G, and running vista 32bit!

I disabled all itunes services via msconfig- start menu...run...msconfig.

I disabled also 'bonjour' in services. I restarted mc pc after fully restoring and updating.

Itunes completely off and all programs off, ie web browser, etc and ran that baby!

Its all good now. Thanks again!

can anybody create a list of what cydia apps are currently not working with the newest firmware after this jailbreak? I had read that backgrounder wasnt working on 3.1 and a few other apps were not working either not sure if they were resolved a list for incompatible apps with 3.1.2 would be great thanks!

Worked for me! I am running Win7 x64. Had to run under XP mode and also ran as admin for it to work.

so i updated my iphone to the most recent update from which i had 3.0 to 3.1.2.

my itunes is still the same 8.2.1.6

and i updated it and when i ran blackra1n. watied 30 seconds. and itunes pop up. and i closed it and waited. what am i suppose to do?

am i supppose to restore it?

iTunes 8? That's a no no- just go to version 9

Backup > Restore to 3.1.2 > Blackra1n

Brilliant Geohot!
Updated to 3.1.2 on my Mac, jump to my PC Win XP Home, ran blackra1n and in 25 seconds I was jailbroken! Installed Cydia and restore using PkgBackup and all of my apps and settings back exactly the way they were on 3.0.1, NICE!

Anyone know how to update to 3.1.2 with out upgrading baseband? I don't actually need the unlock at this time but you never know when AT&T will push you to go to T-Mobile and their flawless sidekick network

SHOCKING. It doesn't actually work with Windows XP SP3.
Just tried with Vista Home Premium SP1, and it worked. Weird.

But no problems. It's working!
