it'll never penetrate the business world like the BB's did. Even if they got the software up to BB level (offline email functions, better exchange connectivity, more secure, multiple exchange account options, etc) the iTunes integration will always hold them back. As a system admin i can say that the thought of having to have itunes on all work machines is a thought that keeps me up at night! the extra network chatter and legal implications that would bring is terrifying. Love the phone and I would never consider taking the company paid for BB but for any large company that needs to remain ISO certified this will just never happen.

You know, honestly, I don't think Apple care who uses their phones. Of course, they want business people to take a liking to the iPhone, but I live on a college campus ATM and honestly, about 10% of the cell phones (yes, CELL PHONES, not smartphones) I see are iPhones. BlackBerries on the other hand, were obviously intended for business usage. You don't often see corporations passing out iPhones like they are BlackBerries. In my opinion, people view the iPhone as a "luxury" smartphone. If you NEED to have email and light browsing on the go, BlackBerry is for you. Corporations attempt to "hook up" their employees with this "eternally reachable" method by passing out BlackBerries. In the business world, the BlackBerry is the "need" and the iPhone is the "want." And until iPhone prices get on-par with BlackBerries (which, they doubtfully ever will), BlackBerry will be synonymous with business phone.

The iPohne got a huge range of different fuctions, which are appealing to business users, thanks to the appstore, like making transactions and so on.
But you can't beat a BB when it comes to writing long mails etc.

They had the gall to mention battery life in the article. I gotta laugh at this because my battery is crap.

iPhone for the win
even people that have BB tell me they would rather have an iphone after playing with mine
iPhone needs a sort of BlackBerry Messenger thing tho.
if iPhone is #1 now, that would make it #0

There are messaging apps that communicate with BB's and also iPhone to iPhone. iPhone ftw.

If I'm running a business, I would give my employee a blackberry exactly because iPhone is far far better. If I give them iPhone, then they'll be able to do everything personal and pleasurable with it, rather than spending their time actually working for me. With Blackberry, it sucks so much that nobody wants to use it other than checking email.
That will be my line of thinking, if I'm the boss. :-)
