I bother commenting for the people who care enough to read my posts. If something as trivial as a color deters you from reading my post, then you didnt care enough to read it in the first place and I couldnt care less if you read it or not

And i am not highlighting anything. Some other members have colored font because we are trying to be a little unique and bring some color to the place. My favorite color happens to be lime green, sorry.

All I know is that google ads totally annoy the me! I don't care who owns the map app. As a consumer who paid for my phone, I DO NOT want ads. That's not what I paid for.

@ Bernie-mac. I personally don't find it "rude" to post in a loud color, but on a reals your ish is hard to read tho.

Back on topic- I did find it weird that those results would come up in the maps application when searching for something else. Do I consider it spamming? No. If they are really advertising similar places based on my search results, I guess they have all right to because it's a free service they're providing on our iphones. Or am I wrong?

Oh no, I have to endure a small unobtrusive advertisement in my FREE application! I bet you guys hate being part of the system. In fact, unless proven otherwise, I will picture everyone who complains about crap like this as this guy:

You get the same google maps with the iPhone that you get on your desktop. Are you suddenly paying for the service when you use google on your phone? Why should you suddenly become ad-exempt when using a free service just because you're suddenly on a mobile device?
