iTunes 9.0.1 Now available

Its seems the quality of Apple software has gone down hill. I feel like they are rushing major updates to get them out, and then have to release a chain of small updates to fix all that they forgot. I know all software is like this, it just seems to have gotten worse in recent years. But glad they fixed the issues so quickly atleast...Thanks for the heads up.

I remember back in 1.1.4 ppl said dont update to itunes 7.5 for some reason blah blah and I did and during a restore i remember getting errors thrown at me... as for this update...im not going to update to itunes 9 until the JB team says that you NEED to have it

Yeah, I don't think Itunes will ever affect the jailbreak. There's gotta be an insider of the Dev Team working for apple. I wouldn't be surprised if old Steve Jobs has a jailbroken Iphone. ha ha ha

I just updated and it syncs ok up to the end where it says "syncing iPhone", the bar keeps running, the screen on the device has stopped syncing and there is a 15-20 second delay where it says it's ok to disconnect the iPhone... Not a mayor annoyance but still... Anyone has the same?

It still takes 30+ minutes for me to sync Contacts/Calendar/Browser/Notes to Outlook.

Well what generation iPhone do you have? My 3GS goes super fast when syncing

Its always been slow when I check items in the "info" tab. Everything else is very quick.

When the next version of itunes that removes all that crap from the iphone options comes out then I'll be interested.

I think itunes 9 sucks and firmware 3.1 can join it.
I had to downgrade itunes and the iphone back to a nice and working itunes and firmware.

Anyone notice if you have more than 5 rows of icons you cant sync Apps in itunes 9? How about Apps just turning on and off by themselves. Or the fact you cant arrange photo's anymore.

I think another big stuff up like that and I will gladly get rid of the iphone. It's been a gimmic from day one.

I think I will look into that new MS phone. At least that'll be able to be customized the way I like it and they wont complain all the damn time.

No need to jailbreak it as it already runs everything. You want a phone that can run homebrew? Get a WM smartphone.

Ahhhh so it was itunes that created the multiple album list errors. I've always thought it was the firmware.
