Three New App-Loaded iPhone Ads Hit Prime Time
Apple debuted three new ads for the iPhone 3GS last night, all during prime-time, and all focusing on demos of specific apps:
Dine In Dine Out, which features Zagat to Go, QuickOffice, TripCase, New York Subway 09, Epicurious Recipes & Shopping List, and Gap Style Mixer:
Nature Lovers, showcasing iXpenseIt, Daily Finance, Guitar Toolkit, Lonely Planet Mandarin Phrasebook, iBird Explorer Plus, and Pizza Hut
and Pass Test Pass Time which shows off Fandango, G-Park, VocabWiz College Vocabulary, 365 Crosswords, Classics, and ABC Animals:
Apple is pushing the diversity of App Store offerings hard with this new campaign, showcasing six apps in each ad, as opposed to three per ad in previous spots. Some of these apps - such as Lonely Planet Mandarin Phrasebook, iBird Explorer Plus, G-Park, and Classics, are getting their second exposure, having been featured in previous campaigns.

Maybe they could do an ad on health apps and show off their new "coma mode"....
I don't drink kool-Aid, I don't join cults.
This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

Why only for the 3GS ? Is this Apple's way of getting 3G users to upgrade before their contract runs out ?
