I'm not getting the "Celullar Data Network" option in my settings when I reboot the phone.

It'd be awesome if there were directions for us Windows users instead of just Mac.

I did the terminal command. I went to do the carrier update, but since I have not updated to 3.1 yet, my button in iTunes says "Update" instead of "Check for Update." When I opt-click the "Update" button, I can navigate to the ippc file in my downloads, but it will not let me choose it. It is grey'd out. Any suggestions?

Go to the article at CultOfMac. At the bottom of the article, they cite their reference as GearLive. They have Windows instructions. Go there.

SwirlyMMS is working finally!! I am sure at&t had finally allowed my phone to receive MMS but I can now with Swirly now.

I did and got

CProgram Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe

CProgram' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Just downloaded the carrier settings and applied it. Didnt have to do anything except update the carrier settings in Win Vista running iTunes 8.2.010. Worked perfectly.

im not sure what all is different.. on thin i noticed , when u go to carrier settings it doesnt have a section for visual voicemail... just cellular data and mms

This one doesn't work either for me. I have tried all of these and none work. 3GS, 3.0 jailbroken. Checked my ATT account and it has the messaging option as current like it should instead of the iphone text messaging plan. WTF. I give up, waiting till the 25th. Only thing i wonder is, after changing out the ipcc to the hacked one I wonder what will happen when the authentic one comes from att?
