This is a pain..now the file (I have saved on my desktop) isn't available to choose when I press Shift+Check For Update.
Ugh.

This one doesn't work either for me. I have tried all of these and none work. 3GS, 3.0 jailbroken. Checked my ATT account and it has the messaging option as current like it should instead of the iphone text messaging plan. WTF. I give up, waiting till the 25th. Only thing i wonder is, after changing out the ipcc to the hacked one I wonder what will happen when the authentic one comes from att?

so you still have visual voicemail right? And did you already have a previous carrier profile? cuz i have one already with mms working. I just didn't know if this carrier file updated anything new. But if not then i'll stick with what i have cuz mine is working..no need to fix what's not broken.

3.0 is what enabled the MMS functionality, it's just your phone awaits AT&T to flip the switch on MMS so you can send/receive. AT&T just enabled it on your account; you don't have to do anything beyond install 3.0 or later. It's all up to them [AT&T] to when MMS is actually turned on for you.

As someone suggested in the link on the OP, I get to 95% and hang on my 3gs. Dunno why otherwise it almost works.
