iPhone Firmware 3.1 Live for Download

hey guys, i bringing my 3G to the apple store tonight for a replacement my battery has gotten rally bad. if they give me a replacement what are the chances that it will have this 3.1 update? I know how to downgrade and to jailbreak it but i know to unlock it you can't downgrade the base band.

itunes 9 is nice and this new beatles coffee mug will be a fine morning addition. not too exciting on the hardware front that we didnt know already

Check for update at the top and I am downloading 3.1 so I will have it whenever a jailbreak and unlock comes available said 80 mins while downloading.

I doubt very seriously that it will have the new 3.1, you should be just fine.

ipod touch firmware 3.1.1 was what i got, BTW i upgraded from 2.2.1 to 3.1.1 for free

I have updated my iTunes to 9.0 and my un-jailbroken 3G to 3.1 without any problems. Lengthy time while it re-read my music library (large) and what seemed like the longest re-load time ever for the phone firmware, but all is OK. No issues sync'ing.

3G+3GS unlockers..you must not update to official 3.1! unlock needs pre-hacked 3.1 with 04.26.08

This means that if you update, your baseband WILL get updated and you WILL LOSE your unlock.
There is no hack for new baseband, so you will be stuck.
