Average iPhone user has $80 worth of apps: survey

A survey released by AppsFire indicates that iPhone users have spent an average of $80 on premium apps, Moblie Entertainment reports. The results also showed that 65% of the apps the users had downloaded were free, the average cost of the paid apps was $1.65 (it's stats, guys, the numbers do come out a little weird).
Perhaps the most interesting finding in the survey was that the 1200 users surveyed had a total of 15,000 unique apps on their iPhones, indicating that many of the 65,000 titles on the App Store were going unnoticed.

I got over 150 apps and i dont want to even add up how much i spent but if i were to guess im over 300 easily. especially after tomtom and sling.
although i did manage to obtain tomtom and sling in ''another'' way prior to purchasing since there is no trial versions or refunds. i would have hated to spend 130 dollars and not like the apps but since i was able to try these apps out first in ''another'' way i ended up making the purchase. apple needs to work on their itunes store policies at least a refund within a certain time frame or make lite version of apps available especially for pricey ones.Last edited by salayyad; 09-09-2009 at 02:08 AM.
