AT&T Announces MMS

The last *big* earthquake was 1994 and that wasn't even near where I live.
I've only felt 2 earthquakes before, the first one last summer and the second one a couple months after.
Fires - yeah but what hot place with dry mountains doesn't?

Mud slides - not really...
Riots... Uhh.. not really.. 1992? That has nothing to do with California's natural disasters though.

so let me get this straight so for the people who have 3.0 jailbreak iphones we need to upgrade the carrier or to os 3.1???

Just out of curiousity, have you thought about changing service and just unlock your phone? I think it would be worth the 100 disconnection fee IMO for you to change to a company that will work for you.

I have thought about that a couple of times. My entire family is on AT&T, and almost every one of my friends is as well. I'm the only one that lives in an area that is really crappy as far as service goes. Some of my family are in areas that are decent but I'm in an area that royally sucks. All but my dad live in areas that have 3G but that doesn't stop dropped calls. I stay with AT&T because other than the spotty service, I am really satisfied with them. I think I get charged a little much but I can deal with that, I dealt with it with the 2G and the 3G so I can deal with it on the 3GS. If I were to unlock it the only service I could use is T-Mobile and I'd still only have edge speeds. So it's stupid, but I don't think switching is worth it to me. I like the free in network calling, not limited to 5 or 10 people and I like the rollover minutes. You can probably tell I've never really researched it, but overall I'm happy with everything with AT&T but the service. When the iPhone goes to another carrier I'll let the mass exodus die down and pick which one turns out to be the best.
