Jeez, stop whinging. The app was doing something it wasn't supposed to be doing (shutting down other processes running in the background) and so Apple put the kibosh on it.
App Store apps will always have to stick within the rules that Apple lays down, and if they cross a boundary - even unintentionally, or by slipping something under Apple's radar - they risk having that functionality stripped out of them. Big deal.
That's what jailbreaking gives you, freedom to do whatever you like. Use SBsettings, use 3G unrestrictor, Yourtube, Attachment Saver etc etc etc. Revel in your unfettered functionality, instead of moaning about the restrictions Apple places on the sheep who rely solely on the App Store.
It's their ball park, they make the rules. End of story. (Except that we play in the field next door, and play by our own rules.)

What was the main problem in it's key features? Was that mentioned? I did not get that properly. But in my point of view, I heard some good report about istat. So, i don't get anything wrong.mod/edit links removed

WTF!?!?! I love this app! All the apps approved by apple have no functionality. They only approve apps that don't do anything at all besides take up space on your device. Download sim stapler you will no what I mean!

I've found several free-memory applications at the App Store. I'm not going to list them here thereby helping Apple conduct their removal effort easier. But if you go searching and are imaginative, you'll find other apps like istat, some even better, that let you free memory.

Seems to me this is a good case for developers to sell two versions of their apps. Watered down version on apple store and fully functional version on Cydia store.
Of course what we really need is a itunes replacement that would just interface to a store(s) (and support all phones) that all developers of any phone type could sell their apps. The only thing that gets apple's attention is when it involves money.I don't drink kool-Aid, I don't join cults.
This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.
