My favorite part about the whole thing is that Apple refuses to replace these iPhones because the small explosion cracked the screen, which voids your warranty.

All of this exploding iPhones is a bunch of crap. The term exploding (or imploding as 1 article stated) is being used loosely and i have not seen a picture of one exploded. The one in the picture on the fist post is MELTED at the connection port (it did not even show the screen). That is not exploded in my opinion. there are more sold in the US but they are not EXPLODING here (if thats wht you want to call it). Its just people scamming. Complete BULL****. IMO people are trying to get there iphone replaced for free for damage that was the there fault. Some of the reported exploded iphones have been returned to apple, examined by apple, and apple says that the cracked screen (or EXPLODED phone) was caused by external pressure. What gets me is the exploding term. If an iPhone exploded (or any other electronic device) it would be in a couple of pieces. From what i have read the only thing seen was a melted connector or a cracked screen. Again i think most all of this is BULL****.

Maybe the iPhone didn't explode but something INSIDE did! That would be enough to cause damage but not the phone to break into multiple pieces
