Attachment Saver - Save Mail.app Attachments

Ever been frustrated by the iPhone Mail app's inability to view attachments of certain types? Ever been found yourself needing to save an attachment to disk somewhere so you could use it outside Mail.app? AttachmentSaver to the rescue.
AttachmenSaver is a nifty little extension to the iPhone's Mail app that allows you to save attachments so you can access and view them using your favorite file manager (iFile recommended). It unlocks the ability to download *all* attachments of any type, whether supported by Mail or not, and save them into a folder on disk. For those emails with multiple attachments, it even conveniently provides the option to save all attachments in that particular email, accessible via the action menu in the toolbar (the one that usually contains the Reply/Forward buttons).
It's in the Cydia store now at $1.99, a decent buy. Pick it up!

Great. Another mod I can't get because it's in the Cydia store. Guess I'll have to wait for it to be cracked to download it and then find a way to donate $2 to the dev.

When you use it with iFile (as well available in Cydia) you can directly jump to the folder it has been saved to or even open it with iFile e.g. it has a file extension not naturally supported by your iphone.
Absolutely great!
edit: it´s /var/mobile/Library/Attachments/

This thing works like a charm. This is the cool
work around to
actually edit email attachments (Word, Excel, etc.) directly on the phone without having to purchase QuickOffice Exchange version.
I don't have Microsoft Exchange email.
Once you save the file via AttachmentSaver find the file in iFile and then copy it to the Local Files folder of QuickOffice ( /var/mobile/Applications/LONG
STRING*OF*NUMBERS*& LETTERS OF*WHATEVER*FOLDER*HAS*QUICKOFFICE/Documents). Once the attachment is there you open QuickOffice and edit then email out.
Look out Blackberry! LOL.
