gpush is now up in the app store. Works as advertised and seems to be very quick.

There seems to be bugs in it still. It doesn't push a LOT of my gmail's. I get some of them. Most of the time I heard the native apple mail app sound incoming sound. I've read reviews on the product in itunes and many people have the same exact issue of not receiving push notifications for majority of their mail.

pass. realized a while ago that it was easier to have my emails forwarded to my mobileme account and just setting that to push.
been happy with it so far no need to switch
