LOL Nice run-on there. The Chinese iPhone isn't going to work on Verison in the U.S. period.

How many terrorist attacks does it take for the Chinese to care about wifi in a single phone? It's not like a terrorist can't still order one of our iPhones with wifi and unlock it anyway.

@ Chris...Ordering requires importing and so on...if the Chinese iPhone had all that wouldn't that cut down time & cost?

Yea, but there is almost no WiFi in China. Not in Holiday Inn, not in the major hotels, not anywhere. People in China still prefer LAN. Only a month ago did China Unicom introduce 3G.

Oh my goodness, Asia, two years ago, four countries, my laptop didn't pick up wifi once.

All, I think there are some misunderstanding with the mainland China version of the iPhone and what may have caused Apple to be willing to create a special version.

I posted my opinions in details.

Love to hear everyone's opinions in the form of comments on my post.

The back of that iPhone looks like wood painted black! Also, look at the rivets in the white letters!

It is great to know that Apple 3G finally entered in Chinese market. People in China will really enjoy it. I wish all the success for Apple.

I am very glad to know that Apple finally entered Chinese market. I wish that the 3 year agreement works down successfully with both parties. I believe people in China will enjoy operating iphone for guaranteed.

You actually confused me for a second and made me doubt myself. So I say thanks for that.

Why do any of us even care about the Wifi or Chinese iPhones? So what if they don't have Wifi, it's not like we'll have to deal with that problem.
