Apple Releases 3.0.1 Update! SMS Hack Fixed!

No keyboards on 3. I did a search, and apparently Apple changed some kind of code from 2 to 3 and... no keyboards. Too bad, I'd like the 5-line one too.

well i was dumb and updated to the 3.0.1 and wasnt able to use my phone

but the good news i learned how to jailbreak my phone using the guide here

so far so good, some of my cydia apps are missing like sbs and 5 column

i used 3.0 fw when JBing too

There is no problem with 3.01 apart from the fact that you can not (an't will not be able to) theme keyboards

I just spent way too many hours pulling apart the 3.x keyboard code. There isn't enough legacy support to theme keyboards anymore. Sorry.

i also used the redsnow version that is provided in the 2g jb guide

not the 8.0 and it still worked

i read somewhere here i had to use the 8.0 am i right? or i did i just get lucky? lol

for 2G, 3G, and ipod touches, you're good with 0.7+.
For PPC macs you need 0.7.2+
and for 3GS iPhones you need 0.8
