I read up on it a bit and it seems that it gives the sender of the sms root access.

well if that is so, mabey we can use this to our advantage and be able to mess with our own phones without the necessity of jailbreaking them.
think how awesome it would be to be able to install stuff like apps and themes without jailbreaking!

I would suggest to anyone who REALLY needs their iPhone for serious use to put it in "Airplane Mode" giving full functionality to their apps, clock, calendar, etc... without the risk of receiving these messages.
