I didn't notice that this many people wanted rotating wallpaper. I think BigBoss has a good idea, but Winterboard will not be going anywhere. If BossPaper could also apply themes and still reserve the CPU/Mem space, then we'd be onto something.

Am I getting smart with you? How would you know?

I don't think so. Winterboard has still lots of cool stuff you can do with it. You can change icons, battery, dial pad and a whole lot more. It's good to have BossPaper, but I would not get rid of Winterboard. It's still one of my favorite aps. I have them both installed and BossPaper handles the cool wallpaper transitions part. Pretty cool

To All The Noobs or Doorknobs:
BossPaper doesn't affect Winterboard at all. You can still use any theme you like (ofcourse not the ones the rotates wallpaper or it will conflict with BossPaper) or any customization in Winterboard. What you have to do is setup Bosspaper to your liking and then you have to choose User Wallpaper in Winterboard. If you don't choose User Wallpaper in Winterboard, BossPaper will not work. I think that's pretty easy to follow.

For those (like myself) that really wanted images from iPhoto ifor use in BossPaper. You can always email to yourself from iPhoto and save them to your camera roll on the device. The images are not always the clearest, but for textures and abstract images, it's better than nothing.

Just wanna let everybody know, that I installed it and went back to winterboard, because of my particular theme, BUT I couldn't get winterboardsettings back to work, it's still on the springboard.

So if you have winterboardsettings, watch out.

I'm so glad I didn't know that I can't use my pics as wallpaper in Winterboard. If I'd known I wouldn't have done this.

I'm not interested in this just for wallpaper, but if it goes into a "customize" type app I'll jump on it. I think boss should re-port the old customize from spicy chicken and make it non server dependent and give control back to the local instead of the cloud.

Maybe it's because it's still a Beta, but this slows down your iPhone as well.

Not at all. My 3GS operates normally with this. Due to BigBoss's efficient programming, it also uses very little ram so there is no slow down at all.

Maybe on the 3GS iPhone. I got the 3G. When it's using multiple pictures to transition through I notice a slowdown in apps loading. Using only one picture is better.

Have you added the beta repo? Are you sure you want to beta test this?

It's nice but not enough features, like icons and stuff, of course I could change those manually afterwards.
For now I'll stick with Winterboard.

Again, if you have winterboardsettings, you will never be able (at least on mine) to get winterboard back in settings, I tried everything, it's still on springboard.

Not a big deal, I'm just saying.

My winterboard settings are fine. I have both Bosspaper and winterboard running. I have noticed quicker battery drain with Bosspaper. I am trying to isolate the cause now to make sure it is Bosspaper and nothing else.

Could it be a conflict between Bosspaper and Winterboard causing your problems?

@confucious Whats the worst that could happen? Require a restore?

@dogdaysunrise Ya but I want to be able to create rotating wallpapers, I don't know how to do that without BossPaper

Also installs logmailer, I don't like it when I'm not told what's being installed. Removing will revisit at later date.
