I can open it fine on my 3gs (redsn0w), I requested an invite on the google voice site, when can I expect to get my invite?

Mine too. I enter my username and password, select remember me and then click done. Shows the signing in icon and then crashes back to my home screen. Saw a post that there is going to be an update due to a protection issue, i just downloaded it so it's possible the update has not came out yet.

Invites are sent out when google is ready to add more users. If you weren't in the first round of invites, you'll need to get on the list and wait until they are ready to accept more users. Could be a week, a month or longer.

ive had a google voice account for some time now, dont really use it, i wonder if this app will make me use it. Is there a way to send out invites from my account? i didnt know it was not released yet, i have 2 accounts since i was a former grandcenteral user.

The invites are only being handed out through Google as they can hand them out. People with Google Voice accounts already don't have the ability to send out invites to other people.

Request Invites through this link, it will take some time, like someone else said - days, weeks or months, no one really knows, it's all up to them. (Mine took a couple of weeks if i remember correctly)

Be prepared to wait for awhile. If you don't want to wait, there are many invites for sale around $25. I wish we could send invites from our accounts

I'm searching throughout Cydia and cannot find gv mobile. even looked in the modmyi source list. can't find it.. any one able to tell me how to find it??

It isn't working or me, it just loads the default screen and crashes back to springboard.

That's a known issue - a fix is coming soon / later today, according to the posts on page 2
