It irritates me that people discuss the possibility of accessing cracked apps especially on a thread that is advertising a FREE app. The developers spend so much time and energy creating these applications and many of them are generous enough to submit them either at no cost to you or at a very, very, reasonable price. I know free stuff is great, but come on, for some of them this is not just a hobby but a way to make some money. Let's be respectful and do what we can to support these developers so that they can advance this technology even further.

Look under "Settings > RedLaserBeta"

By the way, you can also see what version you're using. I downloaded from Cydia and have vs 2.2.1. As has been said lots of times Apple haven't approved the latest version yet so if you used the AppStore you may have an earlier (and therefore less reliable) vs.
As with I'm sure most people, my kitchen cupboards have been emptied today!

Just tried this and found, to my delight, it supports UK!
It has USD, GBP and EUR for currencies and:
Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, UK and US for Amazon
I just scanned a book that hasn't been out long and it found it and came back with prices from lots of places.
This certainly looks like a winner - Beta 2.2.1 is certainly looking good. Got from Cydia at a price which no one can argue with!He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

This is the type of app that can really pay for itself. Will buy from app store once apple approves it

Loving this app, looking forward to future developments. Works well for me, th only think I'd like to be able to do is add custom data against a barcode or export the scanned list to a doc for things like DVDProfiler. This will definitely get my money!

I couldn't figure out how to set it to GBP last night - in the help page it says that there is a settings button on the home screen, but I couldn't see one!
Going by iGuy's response, is it accessed from the Settings app?
Gotta give BIG respect to the developer occipital for putting this up on Cydia. I guess it's a good strategy for getting plenty of beta testing done, at the possible expense of a few sales - but then, the ratio of non-jailbroken devices to jailbroken must still be pretty much in Apple's favour, so there's still plenty of sales to go for on the App Store if your app is good enough. My guide to customising Buuf2! / Create your own Buuf2 icons! / Buuf2 iPhone wallpapers flickr pool!
