Can anyone confirm if MyWi can connect via the usb cable if you don't or cant use wireless as in some working environments I cant use wireless..

Where I live there is fairly poor 3G coverage, this is a cool ap but I think it would be painfully slow.

you are creating a wifi connection instead of the normal tethering.

Correct me if I am wrong but now it would be possible to connect anything that is wifi enabled to your network. Like a PSP

Downloaded the trial to give it a shot... seems like a cheaper alternative to PDAnet.

I'm having problems with it always turning itself off. My PC can see the adhoc access point and connect. I can load a few pages but soon it turns itself off.

It's hard to tell what the occurrence is caused by -- not linked to sleep, locking, backgrounding the app, etc...

All of this with a 3GS os 3.0. Anyone else have other experiences? Working with a 3gs?

Well I'm already JB with redsn0w.

Will Rock your Phone pick this up or will it also change/Jialbraik my iphone in its own way as it would if I wasn't already Jailbroke.

I think I've got it. If I install through Cydia it wont but If I install through the desktop client then it would. Is my theory correct.

Hope this makes sense.

Yeh but if Apple enabled and created everything there would be no app store.

To me it sounded like he thought the app was about tethering when in fact it creates a wifi hotspot that enables many devices (PSP's, PDA's Mobile phones games consoles etc..) not just computers to connect to the internet and it enables you to connect more than one device at a time.

P.S I'll apologies anyway as I was a bit harsh, just having one of them days SORRY

OMG! JailbreaKilla (aka iPhoneKilla) was banned recently. Looks like he made a new account and is at it again. What a loser. He needs to get a life. He loves to get reactions like ours. All: If MyWi disconnects after a minute - please reboot your iPhone. This will fix the issue.

This app is amazing! To have a portable wifi hotspot is sweet. Lets say you have a friend that needs his 3G unlocked and have no internet around... tethering does you no good b/c the locked phone can't access the internet. This gives you that option!
