So, this will not incur additional charges from AT&T? We only pay the one-time fee of 9.99 (great price btw)?
Please confirm...I think this is the first new app that will bring me back over to the jailbreak community! This would be great!
I love my 3Gs...and this would make it...well Rock!

I had used something like this with my Nokia E71. It is a great thing to have when you want to use your computer somewhere but don't have internet around. May have to check it out.

Thanks....I kinda figured. But that would still be great as we have a Data Plan, so we shouldn't see "additional" charges other than what we are paying already. Right?

Wanted to try this But Was surprised that I couldn't install this app without 1st creating a Rock ID - AND that wasn't possible without a PC and their PC installed client software. Uggg. AND this info wasn't even available after downloading RockApp via Cydia. Was hoping to use MyWi on this business trip but guess I must wait till I get home.

MES: Sorry for the confusion on creating a RockID via the website and phone - we removed people from creating a RockID from the iPhone version of the website as it caused confusion for the non-technical folks (they still have to soft-unlock (jailbreak) their iPhone and didn't understand). This caused some issues for folks coming in through Cydia. You don't need to install any software on your desktop. Just use a web browser on your desktop and you can create a RockID. (then login on the iPhone app to download MyWi). Thanks for your patience!
Send iPhone System Log: Via any Intelliborn App -> Click Help / FAQs/ Support -> Scroll to bottom and click on red text at bottom.

Where I live there is fairly poor 3G coverage, this is a cool ap but I think it would be painfully slow.

Keeps turning itself off?
Downloaded the trial to give it a shot... seems like a cheaper alternative to PDAnet.
I'm having problems with it always turning itself off. My PC can see the adhoc access point and connect. I can load a few pages but soon it turns itself off.
It's hard to tell what the occurrence is caused by -- not linked to sleep, locking, backgrounding the app, etc...
All of this with a 3GS os 3.0. Anyone else have other experiences? Working with a 3gs?

My understanding of Rock Your Phone is that it carries out some kind of JB to allow you to run there apps
Well I'm already JB with redsn0w.
Will Rock your Phone pick this up or will it also change/Jialbraik my iphone in its own way as it would if I wasn't already Jailbroke.
I think I've got it. If I install through Cydia it wont but If I install through the desktop client then it would. Is my theory correct.
Hope this makes sense.
