WinterBoard Released for iPhone 3GS

well i got royalled effed. lol
i was running purplera1n, and installed Winterboard. I didnt install the mobile substrate because I was an idiot.

Im thinking if maybe I should just go with the dev team's release this time around. It was probably because I didnt load the substrate.

Im going to test on purplera1n with substrate then winterboard and see if that works... Ill keep you guys updated within the next 30.

You should still be fine. I was on purplera1n rc2, downloaded Winterboard, it asked to reboot.. did so, and it hung.. I held hold the home and power buttons to reset it.. this time it goes into safe mode.

After I got into safe mode I opened Cydia and I just let it update my repos/sources whatever it does in the beginning and eventually it came up with 2 updates available, one for Winterboard and one for Mobilesubstrate. I downloaded the updates while in safe mode, rebooted and it's working like a charm now. Hope that helps ya. I think this is the firs time I've ever posted haha..

exactly, but i first installed Winterboard without mobile substrate. I.E. I didnt have any type of mobile substrate version on my phone. lol. I still tried the sleep + home button hold thing everybody said to do, but that only works for people who had mobile substrate.

I had purplera1n rc1, then ran rc2 without a problem. I installed mobile substrate and winterboard at the same time. It took like 5 minutes for my phone to boot up but since that everything has been running fine. I am able to install apps from the app store, and cydia only crashed once after I had downloaded about 10 themes.

yeah dockflow is nice, I just wish it had the actual icons for 3.0.
I know there is one type of dockflow that does, but it doesnt look as crisp and smooth as this one.

Yea, that is the only reason why I am not rockin it right now. Hopefully someone with some photoshop skillz can get this done

im actually really pro at photoshop.
I have been basically for about a year now. I know everything there is... what luck.

So ive I have the icons ready, how should I input them and send them to everybody? and what exactly should I be photoshopping? the icons in the exact same format as the way it is on my dock with the reflections?

That would be awesome! I would like to see them the exact same way as before except with the updated icons. When you are done you can simply attach them to your post in the advanced menu. Thanks M8!

Looks great. Yea you need the separate icons. You can just zip the icons and people can upload them to overwrite their current dockflow or you can create a theme from this so people can just drop it into their winterboard themes folder.

i am finalizing the last minute edits,
should I save each icon in a .gif format with a transparent background? or save each icon under a black background...
