ultrasn0w 0.8 out! Unlock iPhone 3GS cross-platform

ultrasn0w (the current iPhone software unlock solution) is now OFFICIALLY and completely supporting all iPhone's, including the 3GS.

The main 3GS ultrasn0w glitch on hacktivated devices is: need to do Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network settings once.

It works from Linux, Windows, or OS X now as well.

Stability should be drastically improved for ultrasn0w on 3GS. For certain people, it may take up to 75 secs after reboot tho.

You can download the 0.8 update through Cydia by adding the repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com.

Wifi still isn't working. What gives?

EDIT:

After toggling 3G/Wifi/Airplane modes & turning off the device a couple of times, I am now able to be on T-Mobile and use Wifi. Thanks.

I am going to try to get this to work on my 3G for T-Mobile.

But my Question is would it be worth it to unlock an IPhone 3G on the AT&T Network?

That Cydia repo is wrong! Had to go to Dev Team blog to get correct repo

Well i tried on my t-Mobile phone and it did not reboot by itself. but i rebooted it and it seems to be unlocked. i had to reset the Network settings though for it to get back on the Data network.

WiFi i do not know if that is working yet.

Somehow i am stuck at apple boot logo its been there for more than few minutes. I tried reset as well but no lock. Does anyone has an idea?

Mine is iphone 3G

Just upgraded my 3G to the new ultrasn0w for the fun of it. Hopefully it'll fix a few bugs

didn't the dev team NOT want to release this waiting for Apple's 3.1 release? They didn't want them to fix this problem in 3.1 right?

I'm assuming that the problem will not be fixed in 3.1 and we'll be safe for later?

Wifi works after the Airplane MODE trick, anyone having trouble with youtube tho? I did the redsn0w jailbreak this time (although I can do a legit ATT activation)

With the new uttrasn0w, if I do a plain restart without the airplane toggle trick the phone will lose signal and wifi after approx. 60 seconds. Then it finds signal again and wifi is fine.

If I use the airplane toggle trick, it works fine.

any help after ultrasnow wifi lost uninstall wifi back.....jailbreak with redsnow 0.8 it went well...every thing is fine except ultra snow any suggestions.....please?
