i love how the mac versions of EVERYthing just look better! I have noticed that my 3gs takes a bit longer to boot up now that its jaibroke but still faster than my 2g obviously. before i jb it, it booted up in like 20 seconds! now, almost a minute

agh i wish i had 600 to buy an iphone 3gs from ebay... my 2g iphone is old... lol. i'm getting such a sweet deal on t-mobile that i don't want to switch... AT&T charges me like 200 bucks a month for what i have on t-mo for $60

iPhone 3GS just went into safemone after installing winterboard and it does start up slower after jailbreak. :/

Yes it can, just download cydelete through Cydia and change the settings to allow non-cydia deletion and all should be good

Stay away from Winterboard! Lol. Most definitelty. Pretty much right now, try not to install anything, 3.0 and the 3GS probably are different so most things wont work. Idk, my guess since after 2.x we had to change many apps off cydia.

That was the easiest, fastest jailbreak yet... worked perfectly for me!

One thing not mentioned (which may need to be) is that when purplera1n said "Done! Wait..." iTunes launches and pops up a message saying it has detected the phone in recovery mode. For me nothing happened until I closed that message (by clicking OK) which made the phone reboot right away. After the reboot Freeze was installed.

This could be a coincidence of time? The phone rebooted a second after I accepted the iTunes message.
