Hopefully this one will fix my problem I had earlier with it just staying in recovery mode... Have to try it when I get home from work. Ugh, being without my phone at work is terrible... it's so boring! haha.

@ grabyourweapons, if it gets stuck in recovery mode while running the jailbreak then close purplera1n and reopen and run jailbreak again and it will bounce out of recovery and finish.

I tried restarting purplera1n quite a few times actually. Fixed it last night, but it isn't working this morning.

i stumbled on the RC2 this morning by accident and amazingly everything went smooth as could be. Running Vista 32bit.
I just want to know why the command to convert .string files to XML isn't working for me. I'm having to use that website to upload/download.
plutil -c xml1 SpringBoard.strings
no good on 3G[S] 3.0 ?
And Bluemetal are you saying that winterboard is working for you?

Man RC1 worked fine for me RC2 is giving me fits. How long did it sit at the picture of geohot for you guys?
I let it sit for 20 min this morning. just finished a restore, synced, trying again now and it's just sitting at the geohot splash again. Maybe I should have synced after the JB.
Please let me know how long it took you guys. As soon as purplera1n says "done, wait for reboot." I close it and wait for my phone to reboot (which it hasn't yet).

My phone just shows the iTunes connect image. Whenever I run purplera1n it shows the image of the guy in the rain, but never goes past that. I'll try this new version when I get off work. I actually work for iPhone tech support and it's dead today so hopefully we will get off early and I can go home and fix my iPhone. hah.
