I don't think anyone saw, but they posted the jailbreak for Mac, Cash7c3 can you tell us why it is now taken off? Haha.

PERFECT!!!!! I did this on vista 32bit. Still did not want to work 100% so here is what I did!

I right clicked on the purplera1 file and picked purplera1n.exe as the program to open it with, that is what got it to work for me.
This did not replace any of my settings, all music, everything was still synced!?!?!?

Doesn't work for me either... just has me stuck on the restore screen... ended up having to do a full restore after waiting 30 minutes

Doubtful... at the most you will probably just have to do a fresh restore before using the devteam method.

I think I'll wait. The beta tag is a turn off and I'm still keeping up to date with what's been ported to 3.0 by using my jailbroken 3G. My 3GS is in use and has lite versions of most of the apps that I like. Things like quickboard will have to wait but with the amount of ram and quick loading times the 3GS has, I can live without it for now. The dev-team is number 1 and this guy really shouldn't have blindsighted them by releasing a 3.0 jailbreak that is only partially working. In my mind, he seems like a cheap rip-off. It's like buying cheap **** from China. You'll never be fully satisfied.

So far, push doesn't work for cracked apps.
Tricker3g, voipover3g, and backgrounder makes the appstore crash.

If you guys find a fix, or find any other apps that doesn't work please post them.

So I finally got this JB and unlock working correctly...FYI, anyone having issues with the unlock after the JB, if ultrasn0w is working correctly, make sure to have 3G off in settings, then uninstall ultrasn0w from sources in cydia. I wasn't getting calls for a while, then I reloaded ultrasn0w and now everything is working fine.

i am sorry to say but this JB sucks *** i got about a thousand erros till i was able to restore my phone to its normal setting, will be waiting on DEV's relese as the have not let down yet.

PS: WTF who still runs win xp when 7 is out for the public.

note: got stuck on waiting for phone to boot up, even tho i had is to comatability mode on XP with service pack 3

32 bit, I am on a mac pro

mine here is running flawless, 5 dock springboard, 5 dock dock, ring tones, a few apps, no problems at all so far

I havent touched winderboard b/c so many people said it runs like ****

Just got it working in windows 7 on first try....RC Build 7100 X86


I clicked make it rain, it said "putting in recovery mode" - my phone kind of froze, didn't turn off or anything and no response, until i closed the app and unplugged the USB cable and replugged it back in - then the apple logo came on and recovery mode

After i did that, i just ran the program again - and it worked perfectly

basically all u have to do is let it freeze it for a second, unplug the usb, close the app and plug it back in and run the program again.

but worked perfecly - opened the app "Freeze", downloaded cydia

IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS A SIM CARD THAT WILL WORK WITH A IPHONE ON ITS HIME NETWORK. (USA AT&T). POP THAT IN YOUR IPHONE. TO ACTIVATE. Now I think you can jailbreak and unlock using UltraSnow. I used my wifes sim to activate my new iphone.
