You have to replace each individual icon.png found in each program folder.
ex: To change the phone icon, Use your iphone browser and go to \applications\MobilePhone\.. then rename the existing Icon.png to Icon.pngsave
Then find your Phone.png from whatever theme you want, copy the file to the correct folder on the iphone then rename the Phone.png to Icon.png. (respring after all are changed)

There are also many misc files like the dock and lockscreen sliders that can be changed.
It takes a while to do and if you want to change them to another theme, you have to repeat the entire process.

I did, its unlocked I tested it with a tmobile sim and it works fine.

force restart your iphone and rerun the jb software.

Guys first of all don't run the Purple Rain in desktop or my documents folder. Make a folder under C drive , name it as X or Purple.

here is the Guide

XP SP3
dotNet 3.5 all SPs.
About 10-15 mins. May Vary.
(i was done in a little over five, but I have a 9550 with 4gb ram.)

1. make a folder. call it "X"
Keep your ra1nyday_000000D7XXXXX file in the same folder.

2. DL ra1nyday. To the same Directory.

3. Open iTunez.

4. run purplera1n.exe.

5. If it does, Let it get stuck @ "done wait for reboot. Exit PR.exe.
Restart it. Not the iPhone.

6. It should go thru the "GeoHot and his shatePhone" img.

7. Ur in buisness. It should reboot on it's own.

8. Find FREEZE. It's white. My 1st open slot.

9. Open the App.

10. Install Cydia.

11. Reboot the iPhone.

12. Look for the Cydia icon next to Freeze.

13. Run Cydia.

14. Use an App like diskaid to delete the icon, or SSH into it to do the same.

15. Enjoy Your JBed iPhone.

16. I'm not going to cover Ultrasn0w. There are plenty of tuts on that.

17. I have no issues with Wifi, 3G, Edge, Bluetooth or Calls. CommCenter is just fine.

if it doesnt work and you get stuck at DFU mode. Quit Itunes and run Quickpawn connect the Iphone. when it says next just unconnect it and you are out of DFU mode.

For all you users who run the program and if it gets stuck in dfu mode just hold the home button and the power button until the phone turns off then keep holding the buttons until you see the apple logo come on. It worked for me but it didn't successfully install the freeze app...but at least I didn't have to restore it. And if that still gets your stuck in restore mode hold home and power for 15 seconds, then let go of the power but continue holding the home button for 2 more seconds and your phone should come back to life. I don't think your phone is being bricked its just that it is stuck in restore mode and you have to force it out of it. This may take you quite a few times but keep trying I promise it will get you out of dfu/restore mode. Ok one last thing if all else fails, open up quickpwn, you will get a message stating to hold down the power and home button for 15 seconds....what I found to work the best was when you see that message press and hold the home and power button until the apple logo comes back up and continue holding the buttons for two more seconds and then let go of the power button and continue to hold the home button for 2 more seconds and then let go, and wahlah!!

HOLD OUT FOR THE DEV TEAM !!!! this thing bricked my phone three times. this guy has no clue what he is doing and has got to be an amature if you like your phone wait for the dev team seriously WTF dev team release the tool and stop being one. im on vista 32 bit and have jailbroken many many iphones of all shapes and sizes thsi is the first time ive ever bricked a phone and had to redo it from scratch and its all due to this shotty program seriously WAIT FOR THE REAL DEVS.............

it's working perfectly fine for me, wifi too! i've sshed, winscped... cydia.. so far... I did install it with my windows xp system thou. as far as winterboard, i can hold out for now until..
