The phone in that video is most certainly jailbroken. You have to have cydia in order to install Ultra Snow and you cant have cydia unless the phones jailbroken. Do the math.

Damn... I wish we had a timeframe.
I bought myself a 3GS, but now my wife wants one too... in order to afford hers I will have to sell both of our 2 remaining iPhones(a 2G and a 3G), but that will leave us with just two 3GS iPhones... that cant be used till they are jailbroken.... hmm. And I already have 2 buyers from craigslist calling me up and texting me all day...
Incase this doesnt make sense, we are on Tmobile so i need them unlocked.

Well even though there hasn't been an "official" release date they have said they are waiting for the 3.1 firmware release which shouldn't be too far off. I've seen a couple places people saying a July 17th release for the firmware update so we'll see.

yeah what the heck is it with the battery.. its supposed to last longer on the Gs, but its crap no longer than my 3G? I think someone posted a tutorial on how to drain it and restore the phone again. ... trying that right now..hope it works.

id say go for it man. a couple days no phone is worth it. think of all the guys that have been sittin on their 3gs's since release.
