While we're all bored, anyone want to give a go at citing the history of iPhone Jailbreaking? I started with a locked 2G that was on 1.1.1. I skipped work to take it home and it took me about 3 hours to go through the unlock/JB process. I remember having to type in something on the emergency call screen to get into contacts and add Jailbreakme.com. I actually don't remember which website I got a tutorial from, but I def. wasn't an active reader in any iPhone community for a few months after this.

Anyone know the stories behind it all? what FW was the first JB? was everyone on here crying in anticipation like we are now? Who released the first tool/tutorial?

lol i started with an ipod touch i got for christmas 2 years ago when u could just go to the website on the ipod and then it would automaticly jb the i got a 3g with quickpwn and loved it i spent many nights playing with it and making my friends with un JB devices and then it broke i went out and bought another and i managed to fix my old one so i gave it to my gf and one day i saw an add for the 3gs and it said it was way faster and being the immature person i am could not stand for there to be something out there better than mine so i took my second 3g back and bought a 32 gig black 3gs

Ya just got back from it... why is it rating 2 1/2 star of 5 or 49% or 1 thumb up.... That movie ROCKED... more action, more FX, more details on the autobots and the destruction like heads being pulled appart ect... like common That movie was the BOMB it was so good.
