Everything seems AOK except the few unsigned files (patch coming?) and app store works, but update keeps coming up with a "1" red star on the icon and going into it and viewing updates available just sits there with a gray screen.
Way to go GEO!

Is anyone else having issues with their GPS not working at all?
I keep getting an error saying that my location cannot be determined.

did all the steps to restore it completely etc. still no work ran it as admin stops now once it gets to recovery. Doesnt even go to wait for reboot. Im bout to just give up.

Mine did the same on Vista. I had to use my XP laptop.

yup been using it on att for 2 weeks almost. Yeah it goes into recovery mode and then just sits there, before it would go to recover then just go straight to done wait for reboot.
lol i already tryed that i thought that might work too. Does it matter if its when xp first came out? my dads lap top is pretty old i guess ill go d/l itunes and give it a try. Originally Posted by PhoneLine

Go chronic dev team! I'm happy everyone finally has their jailbreak. They are working on the patch all day. They are having to catch up because geohot released purplera1n a day ahead of schedule.

I guess im the only one that hasnt jailbroken yet
im downloading 8.2 itunes on my dads laptop then ill try it. Ill report back.

holy crap guys i now have an unlocked 3gS haha. Went through once did the same as always then the 2nd time the picture came up that was damn exciting haha. 10 hours after i started messing with this crap this morning it finally works haha im excited time to play.

i know im kinda late on this, but earlier people were having the "purplera1n encountered an error" message. I got this a whole bunch, and I didnt know what was wrong, but then I remembered that he had hardcoded it to C:Program Files...whatever, and I realized my local disk was F: where all that was stored, so i plugged in a usb and made the same directories and it worked first try.
Just to help anyone out that had that problem
