With some water distortion of shape it could be lol.
Sucks for that to happen. But did you notice the guy in the float chair, who was already in the water, didn't even get up lol.

sorry to say that the otterbox for the 3G is only water resistant and not waterproof like the one they made for the 2G

I would have been all over the otterbox 3G case but i dont like the protective screen they use. Lots of people complained about bubbles. (yeh i know you can open it up and fix it)

Hahaha I'm sorry but if I was there I would have laughed even harder. That is what you get when you put an expensive electronic device over water.

This video has got to be totally fake. When his phone is completely submerged in water you can hear him speaking loud and clear. I doubt the mic on the 3gs is really that responsive.

No you cant. What is he saying so when its submerged?
I had an old Nokia phone that when through the washing machine and the dryer and it worked. I dunno why your all so shocked that it worked after being under water for like 3 seconds.
This vid shows an iPhone underwater for even longer.

I wish. My 2G was in a ziplock bag that happened to get a little moisture in it and it's broken. It's on ebay for $10 if any of you repair gurus want a cheap toy.

Wow, that's really great to hear that, once upon a time my phone got wet in while I was in rain and i phone turned off. I was in a serious problem after that, now I would love to buy this waterproof phone. Can anyone tell me more about it's specifications?

I would think this could possibly happen to a child , but nobody can be that dumb or drunk to just drop his $600 phone in the water unless somebody threw him in or he tripped , which didint look like that was the case .
