The GameBone pro looks like a bone. A dog bone. But its actually one of the world's first iPhone OS 3.0 compatible 8-way D-pad 6 buttons game controller to incorporate a 2000mAh battery, both Bluetooth and Apple's 30-pin dock connector connectivity, built-in speaker and 3.5 audio headphone jack.

Slated to come out Sept of 09, the thing will come with a stand to support vertical or portrait modes, and "a clip-on rotating 'I' stand that will allow the GameBone Pro to be attached to the iPhone / iPod touch while in use."

You may remember the iControlPad... which was supposed to be frickin sexy, but never really came to fruition.

The guys at 22Moo are releasing an SDK for the device soon, hit up their site to register for notification when it launches.

The GameBone Pro features :

This is interesting... they're OPEN TO PRICING SUGGESTIONS! heh...

What are currently open to pricing suggestions from the public. We want to ensure our customers get the best value possible and our distributors/resellers receive a decent margin as well. Please feel free to suggest a recommended price for our GameBone Pro.

^I dont think so, there are several games I would enjoy but HATE trying to play them using the iphone as the controller.

I dont play alot of games on the phone anyways....but for someone that does it could be quite useful.

not useless, since iphone/ipod touch doesnt have any keys appart from the ones on-screen it might be useful to make games suit more comfortably

It would be amazing for somebody to come up with an app to use a ps3 controller or wiimote via bluetooth

wiimotes connect to PC's easily. the ps3 conntects to PC's via usb still (maybe bluetooth someday)

Wait till the protocol or program/whatever comes out then youll see others make it work for the ps3 gamepad

Pardon my French, but that is the stupidest f*cking thing I have ever seen. I have nothing against a controller for the iPhone, but damn that thing looks stupid.

Are they trying to go for a joke by having a "bone" in your pocket? Is that a bone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? I seriously hope the product wasn't based on this saying, if so that is just dumb.
