i found my phone using findmyi. Its impossible to disable without wiping the phone but it also blocks wiping the phone and locks it so the thief cannot use it. And its way cheaper at only 2$ a month!!

awesome app. it's for jailbroken phones & i just hide the app from my springboard. i set mine up so it tweets my location at certain intervals, but you can also log in to the website and find your location.. also you can remotely send a text message FROM the stolen iphone so it tells you what number the theif is using... a bunch of other sick features but just go to the site

instead of taking out the SIM card all u gotta do is turn it off... or just delete the mobile me e-mail account

just sign up for mobile me add ur e-maill account to ur iphone and go to ur me account on a computer to see if it worked and thats about it.
