There is NO relation between this and Cydia! I'm on a completely different jailbreak and still have crashing issues with cydia today for the first time since my last jailbreak. It's the server, not your phone. (Saurik is still changing and tweaking)

I just downloaded and i got the iphone 3g 3.0 jailbroken is very very easy no problem at all. Thanks a million DevTeam now cant wait for Ultrasnow to arrive.

I downloaded the file both through internet explorer and firefox and both gave me a zip file. It gave me two folders one that says _MACOSX and one that says redsn0w-win_0.7.1 . In the redsn0w folder I tried to run the redsn0w and it tells me that I need to go to a site to require a license I tried to go to that address and it tells me "this topic does not exist yes" then I tried to run the program in the MACOSX folder and it brings up a DOS window and tells me that Ive encountered an illegal instruction. Whatever that means. Please tell me what am I doing wrong. Dont explain to me like Im an idiot but like Im a bright 8 year old. Thank you.

wow, you need a step by step guide. because you obviously have no idea what you are doing. just wait for the guide man!

There isnt anything wrong with "simple questions" yet some people just see a thread for "iphone 3g 3.0 jailbreaking" and immediately go in, dont bother reading a single post in the thread and ask whatever question "they are" concerned with when the solution to their problem or answer to their questions could have been answered on the 2nd post. That's what some people may have a problem with.

Unfortunately you are indeed coming of very harsh, this is coming from an outside view. Most of the people on the forums have no knowledge of programming or the iphone mods whatsoever. We are here to help those people with useful information. I know I get frustrated sometimes too with all the repeat posts, but this is when you need to take a deep breath and either a. say nothing or b. nicely let them know what to do. Truth is that the people who are asking the repeat question probably found us on google and the link took them directly to the page they are posting on, so they never had a chance to read the previous posts.

BE NICE, you are not a moderator and do NOT dictate what people can and cannot post.

just open the file redsn0w-win_0.7.1 and brows the correct ispw file which u can find it here for 2g or 3g is very simple i thot the same thing. Good luck

This thread has become nothing but idiotic question after question starting from page one.

People are doing a quick google search, finding the middle of the thread, creating an account, asking one retarded question that is easily answered on the first page in red and blue letters, and never taking the time to READ and RESEARCH.

So yeah were getting a bit pissed off at all these wannabe modders.

Anything like this requires time and research.

I remember JB 2.0 for the first time i spent two hours reading so i didnt fuque anything up.

You people are treating it like fapping to porn you found on the internet as a source of instant gratification.

Am I doing something wrong? Every time I try to unzip the file for windows it says it's an "Error opening file".
