Will it work on unibody macbook? I have a 3g iphone in DFU mode but I get error " An ipod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the ipod, then try again. An unknown error occurred (1601)."

so I can't find any guide for the new firmware. I have a 1st gen pwned iphone running 2.2.1. should I update to itunes 8.2 before I use pwnage tool? Also do I still need to use expert mode? And finally, how big do I need to make the root partition?
