ive got a g4 powerbook and pwnage tool keep crashes wtf??? help..

same with my iBook G4 on OS X 10.3.9. Seems pwnage tool requires 10.4 at least. MAN! What about us lost guys?

I am working on a new ipsw for 3g that should fix a lot of problems for the people on AT&T who can not activate or jailbreak....PM me in about 15 minutes for the update....

Actually, seems like it needs an Intel Mac. I suggest calling friends or whoever might have one to get their help in jailbreaking it. You can always change the sync afterwards when you get back to your machine.

question for anyone who knows the answer . If you upgrade to iphone 3.0 and downgrade back to 2.2.1 can you jail break that way or is the baseband still at 3.0?

If you jailbroke on a Mac for 2.2.1 and had to install the old USB driver fix for DFU mode to work in OSX 10.5.6, but then didn't do anything else to get USB back to 10.5.6, will DFU mode work for pwnagetool 3.0?

My wife updated her Macbook to 10.5.7, which I understand fixed the USB DFU mode bug, so we should be good right?

So for someone who had pwnagetool'd 3.0 please comment if these are the best practice steps for custom ISPW for 3.0:

1) upgrade Mac OSX to 10.5.7 for operational DFU mode
2) Restore 2.2.1 Apple original firmware to iPhone 3G
3) Run pwnagetool on download of 3.0 to make custom 3.0 ISPW
4) Restore custom 3.0 ISPW to iPhone 3G
