I am going back to the basic 3.0 GM... In the process of restoring my backup now. Will just have to wait until quickpwn comes out, or someone with a MAC can JB it for me...

Looking at both this forum and the Dev Team's site, there seems to be a common issue with PwnageTool crashing after it starts building the custom FW on PPC macs. Has anyone run into this problem and found a solution? I have tried just about everything I can think of, but it still keeps crashing.

everytime it starts building the firmware pwnage tool closes for no reason

I usually do the same myself. But until winpwn is available, you can update in any manner you wish. When you create the custom FW, you can do another restore at that time.

confirmed, MMS does NOT work with 2g iPhone... sad sad sad. Apple is VERY disappointing. Anyone know how to get Android Cupcake on the iPhone? HAHAHA

Did you not read? No it's not for the 3G S, 3G and 2G iPhone, and 1g and 2g iPod touch only.

question for anyone who knows the answer . If you upgrade to iphone 3.0 and downgrade back to 2.2.1 can you jail break that way or is the baseband still at 3.0?

PwnageTool just quits when it starts building the custom firmware... HELP!
I restored the iphone to 3.0 in itunes, and then was going to use Pwnagetool to activate it... But NOTHING, it justs quits.

I need my phone back =(
